Waiting on November

Zombies everywhere!!!! – Waiting on Left4Dead has been a test of my patience to say the least. I just have that craving for zombie destruction, and L4D is the only prescription for my fever, or so I thought. Last night I stumbled upon Dead Frontier whilst strolling the Gamefaqs boards. This game is everything a free Zombie MMO should be. It features tons of weapons, a decent leveling system, and a pretty simple interface. Two and a half hours flew by, and I found myself upgrading my melee ability five times before wrapping up around two a.m. I suggest anyone who enjoys free things to give this game a shot…

NHL 09, the only sports game I need: I’m 133 games into my online Be a Pro player, and I’m nowhere near bored with the mode. No online community is perfect, and this one certainly has it’s cheesers (curved wrist shots a plenty), but with a smart gameplan, most games can be won. If anyone is looking for a team, and plays smart hockey, let me know.

Geometry Wars still my favorite XBLA game: To be fair I’m talking about the sequel, so it isn’t really the same exact thing (new modes = win), but the same core gameplay is there. With the integration of friends leaderboards on the selection screens, it’s almost impossible not to get addicted to hunting down your friends’ scores in each mode.
