In the Trenches: Fallout 3

I give my views on this site with every post, so I started a feature where I give other gamers the chance to get a few words in. Here are some impressions on Bethesda’s Fallout 3 from gamers on each system (PS3, PC, Xbox360). If you want to be heard too, join Plurk, so I can hear you.

dagothur6: Good game, needs a mod tool. I haven’t seen any good things to bicker about.

St_David: I don’t think I’ll ever go back to Oblivion.

dimesync: What the hell was that? *cocks combat shotgun.

Darin_Himself: Mmmmmm, combat shotgun. Tthe hunting rifle is pretty nice for sniping ghouls. Nothing better than seeing a ghoul’s head blow up from fifty yards away, only if it had a scope.

redphoenix: It’s not like Fallout of Fallout 2, but it’s still a damn-near perfect game.

acidraver: My friend said it was pretty good.

couly: It’s not easy being green.

MythagoWoods: Real men use the Power Fist.

twylight777: I did all the quests, murdered everyone in town, then set off a nuke.

AugmentedMinor: Bottle caps are power.

CrusaderZeRo: Chinese assualt rifle, minigun, Fatman, and Ripper > any other weapon.

gguupp: Watch out for mines.

lukedawgus: Missing one thing, the ability to kill children. I mean that by the way, not trying to be offensive. it’s probably the right decision for them to make, It just seems glaringly against the frame of the game.

taliff: You get to nuke a f*cking town in the first 2 hours!

FellDude: Decapitation and limb amputation FTW!

Sincereity: Sneaking + sniping + bloody mess + V.A.T.S. = fun for life.

solosnake: If this game isn’t epic, I don’t know what is.

Sekoku: Oblivion with Guns.

utarefson: Decapitating mutants in Apocalyptic Washington while listening to a merry tune.

Aladrin: Action-oriented tactical post-nuclear adventuring at its finest.

wardance2600: Post-apocalyptic world where you kill them all, and let God sort them out with V.A.T.S.

KODxfactor: Oblivion meets Bioshock in one of this years true blockbusters.

Epic__Failure: It’s pretty good but it could be better.

SilverSlice: This game is a major improvement to COD4 in most ways.

SoD x Xstatic: CoD4 Received a 10/10, and I could see another 10/10 on the horizon, Call of Duty World at War.Treyarch is following in Infinity Ward’s footsteps in producing yet another Great CoD game.
